Free workshops scheduled for home buyers and sellers.
Buying or selling a home can be a daunting task, especially for first-time buyers and sellers. To help make the process easier, Movementum Realty will host a series of two workshops at their office located at 449 Washington Street, Unit 2 in Duxbury. The Home Purchase Made Easy workshop will take place on Saturday, March 18th, 2017 from 9am to 11am, the Home Selling Made Easy workshop from 2pm to 4pm. March 18th, 2017 from 9am to 11am - The Home Purchase Made Easy workshop will review the ins and outs of a home purchase, what to expect, and how to start the process. Topics include: determining your price range and down-payment, choosing an agent, establishing value in the local market, determining your “must-haves” vs. “wants,” when and how to get a mortgage, working with a bank or lender, how to make an offer, setting up a home inspection, purchase & sale agreements, home appraisals, and what to expect at the house closing.
March 18th, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm - The Home Selling Made Easy workshop will review the process of selling a home, what to expect, and how to get started. Topics include: what to do before you sell your home, steps to prepare your home for sale, what to ask your lender, identifying an agent to sell your home and possibly to find a new place, performing a Comparative Market Analysis to find the valuation of your home, determining the listing price, staging your home, what to consider when reviewing an offer, home inspections, purchase & sale agreement, what to expect at the house closing, and how and when to start looking for your next home.
