Pros

For many people getting it all done in one day is impossible. When faced with this challenge we are forced to weigh our actions and decide where we can cut back to save time. Unfortunately in a business where we need to work to be paid we always go back to those things that get us paid first and when we have extra time we do the rest. This seems to always damper our future marketing and our ability to make sure we properly acknowledge our clients. With these new websites for automated gift giving it is as simple as texting the name of the person and address to the company and they hand the rest. No longer do you need to go to the store, then package things, then mail them, and wait. Now you can send the message and have a concierge do the leg work for you. For the person who is too busy in business to ensure clients are getting the proper gift and thank yous it is perfect. No matter what you are doing make sure your clients are getting the proper attention they deserve from you.

Cons

Letting anyone else act on behalf of you is risky. If the company does not perform as well as you would have you are at risk of your clients judging you based on it. When we do things ourselves we watch over the fine details a lot closer than an outsider working by the hour on our behalf. Another thing is there is an art to gift giving. It is not as simple as just buying anything and making a lasting impression. Thoughtless gifts can be worse than not buying a gift at all. Or worse yet buying a gift the client would not like by accident because you did not listen well can show them that you do not care. When buying a gift try your best to get something that accentuates something they are already doing.
